Estate Planning Attorney

Position Description:
Brown & Streza is seeking a highly motivated Estate Administration/Estate Planning Attorney for our Irvine, California location. This position requires extensive experience in the Estate Administration/Estate Planning area with 10 years of experience. Experience in 706 & 709 preparation is a must. Probate, court matters and audit experience are also required. Brown & Streza requires an experienced, dynamic and team oriented attorney. The position demands excellent legal judgment, strategic thinking and the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a collegial, fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include:
* Preparation of estate tax returns
* Preparation of gift tax returns.
*Inventory of assets of estate and preparation of trust asset allocations
* Probate and Court matters involving Trust interpretation or modification
*Representation of clients in audits of estate tax returns and gift tax returns
* Representation of either Trustee or Beneficiary in Trust matters

Requirements:
* J.D., LL.M from an accredited law school or J.D., CPA preferred; a member in good standing of the California Bar; broad knowledge of Estate Administration and Estate Planning
* Practice at a major law firm is preferred.
*Ability to interact comfortably with management; strong writing and drafting skills; exceptional interpersonal skills; highly team-oriented.
*Commitment to professionalism and flexibility as to the types of projects assigned
* Ability to manage high pressure and complex transactions.
