San Diego home resales increase by $1 billion in 2016

SDAR tallied $17.27 billion in overall transaction volume in 2016, using the Sandicor Multiple Listing Service, or about 6.14 percent more than the $16.27 billion registered in 2015.

Single-family home resales in San Diego County increased by $1 billion in 2016, according to a Greater San Diego Association of Realtors (SDAR) report.

SDAR tallied $17.27 billion in overall transaction volume in 2016, using the Sandicor Multiple Listing Service, or about 6.14 percent more than the $16.27 billion registered in 2015.

The number of sold detached listings declined about 10.8 percent from 1,997 in December 2015 to 1,781 in December 2016.
