Where is the distress, deals, and disputes in commercial real estate?

We keep hearing that a great deal of distressed commercial real estate is coming. And yes, there’s been a heightened level of distress, particularly with larger office buildings – but nowhere near the levels that we saw in 1990 and 2008. So, where’s the distress and the legal disputes that inevitably accompany loan defaults?
