LAPD K9 trainer awarded $11.56M for harassment

The plaintiff had worked with the department’s K9 bomb detection unit since 2005 when he was dismissed in 2017 and transferred to a desk job under the supervision of one of his harassers.

A Los Angeles jury awarded $11.56 million to a former LAPD K9 bomb detection trainer who said he was harassed with false allegations by fellow officers and stripped of his position in retaliation for complaining.
