Ventura City Attorney accused of indecent exposure at a Chick-fil-A is fired

An attorney for Andrew Heglund called it "much exaggeration over some people who got upset at a Chick-fil-A."

Ventura City Council fired City Attorney Andrew Heglund after he was accused of indecent exposure at a Chick-fil-A restaurant.

"The City Council voted 7-0 to terminate the City Attorney's employment, due to a personnel matter," Ventura City Mayor Joe Schroeder said in a statement following the April 13 vote.

Heglund's attorney, Ron S. Bamieh of Bamieh & De Smeth PLC, was unavailable for comment. He told the Los Angeles Times: "We're optimist...
