Supreme Court reversal of EPA ruling raises concerns about net neutrality's legality

The FCC voted 3-2, along partisan lines, to bring back net neutrality rules that were first adopted in 2014 when President Barack Obama was president and then eliminated by the agency when Republicans had control after former President Donald Trump was elected.

Legal experts debated whether a Federal Communications Commission vote Thursday to restore government oversight of broadband service providers will survive a promised legal challenge by the industry, which cited recent changes by the U.S. Supreme Court to suggest that the new policies are vulnerable.
