Daily Journal: Describe a past incident in your work as a judge or as a lawyer that you handled that has helped you in your work now as a neutral.

Sabraw: I learned early on as a judge the importance of involving the litigants in settlement negotiations at court settlement conferences, that the opportunity for them to actually communicate directly with me, with their attorneys present, significantly improved the chance for a resolution.
