From Black Power to Sikh

WORK OF FAITH - I can go in there [to court] and bang with the best of them. If I can negotiate, OK, I can be polite and say thank you. But if I have to stand up and fight, I will. That is the Sikh value system.

        
        Gurujodha Khalsa does not mention the name he was given at birth. That identity is behind him. But you can still hear his roots in the cadence of his speech - an African-American lilt from his hometown, Philadelphia. It is almost unidentifiable when contrasted with his whole wheat colored skin and wispy grey-and-white beard.
