Rest-Break Suits Gain Steam, But Legal Remedy Is Unclear

Imara - On Dec. 27, 2005, the Court of Common Pleas in Philadelphia certified as a class action a lawsuit brought on behalf of approximately 150,000 Pennsylvania Wal-Mart employees who claimed that they missed meal periods and rest breaks, or were interrupted during breaks to perform job duties.
