Family Serves Up Lawsuit to Denny's

LOS ANGELES - An African-American family has sued Denny's, claiming racial discrimination by staff at a Torrance outlet of the restaurant. After attending a funeral Feb. 18, 25 members of Gwendolyn Hook's extended family waited an hour and 45 minutes while they watched one patron after another receive service, according to their lawyer, Melanie E. Lomax.
