Corkage Fees for the Dead Spur Suit Over Mortuaries' Packaging Practice

Culver City casket retailer Rob Karlin wants to put an end to corkage fees for the dead. Claiming he wants to strike a blow for the hardy and thrifty souls of the buy-your-own-coffin persuasion as well as himself, Karlin has filed an antitrust suit against Forest Lawn and other Southern California mortuaries.
