Racial Profilers Target African-American Women

Few could have been surprised when nearly half of all African-American men in a recent survey said that they believed they were racially profiled by police. It is practically an article of faith among young, African-American males that they are more likely than whites to be stopped, frisked, spread-eagled and arrested by the police, often on the flimsiest of charges.
