City Council to Consider Changes to Police Position

After hearing several hours of testimony, the Public Safety Committee voted Monday to ask the Los Angeles City Council to consider several changes to the police inspector general position, including having that person report directly to the police commission and giving the inspector general unfettered access to all department information.
