ViaSat unveils latest network encryptor

The high-speed encryptor will allow government users to perform cloud-computing and real-time data transport in a network protected from cyber threats.

San Diego-based broadband technology company ViaSat Inc. recently introduced the KG-142, a first-to-market 100 Gbps Type 1 Ethernet encryptor that delivers speeds ten times faster than existing devices.

The high-speed encryptor will allow government users to perform cloud-computing and real-time data transport in a network protected from cyber threats.
