Jobs in legal sector lag

While 2011 marked a year of overall recovery for the U.S. labor market, the legal industry remained stagnant in job growth.

While 2011 marked a year of overall recovery for the U.S. labor market, the legal industry remained stagnant.


The legal sector last year had a net gain of only 100 jobs, while the total number of legal jobs hovered at the 1.1 million mark, according to seasonally adjusted statistics released Friday by the U.S. Department of Labor.
