Blind Law School Grad Can Take Bar

A blind UCLA School of Law graduate can proceed to take the bar exam using special software for the visually impaired, the 9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals ruled late Tuesday, rejecting objections by the National Council of Bar Examiners.

A blind UCLA School of Law graduate can proceed to take the bar exam using special software for the visually impaired, the 9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals ruled late Tuesday, rejecting objections by the National Council of Bar Examiners. The bar group wanted Stephanie Enyart to use low-tech aids, arguing that computer enhanced testing might compromise the exam.
