Microsoft GC Upstages Google, Yahoo at Antitrust Hearing

Congress joined the U.S. Justice Department Tuesday in examining antitrust concerns raised by an advertising deal between Google and Yahoo. Microsoft general counsel Brad Smith testified that Yahoo CEO Jerry Yang admitted in a private meeting that the deal would make the Internet advertising marketplace less competitive.
