State settles lawsuit with atheist parolee over faith-based drug treatment program
Barry Hazle Jr. will receive nearly $2 million in the settlement reached Monday, after the 9th Circuit last year ruled he deserved damages for his "unconstitutional imprisonement" from refusing to participate in the program.
