Richmond cargo facility agrees to water pollution control measures

In a settlement with nonprofit San Francisco Baykeeper, Levin-Richmond Terminal Corp. will take steps to prevent toxic metals entering the Bay.

A cargo company that stores coal, petroleum coke and other toxic materials on the San Francisco Bay has agreed to put in place measures to control water pollution at its Richmond facility, in a settlement finalized last week with nonprofit San Francisco Baykeeper.
