On May 17, the Federal Trade Commission issued an Initial Decision in the Matter of POM Wonderful LLC and Roll Global LLC, FTC File No. 082-3122 (May 21, 2012), finding that POM violated federal advertising laws by making deceptive disease prevention and treatment claims in national publications, on Internet sites, newsletters and other advertising materials.
