Keker wins defense verdict for Google on Oracle's patent claims

Google Inc. did not infringe two Java patents owned by Oracle Corp. , a federal jury concluded Wednesday in a verdict that was a triumph for Robert A. Van Nest , a San Francisco-based partner at Keker & Van Nest LLP .

SAN FRANCISCO - Google Inc. did not infringe two Java patents owned by Oracle Corp., a federal jury concluded Wednesday. The verdict completes the jury's work in a trial that so far has been a triumph for Google's defense team, led by Robert A. Van Nest, a San Francisco-based partner at Keker & Van Nest LLP.
