Tribe loses bid for injunction halting wind project

The tribe argues the wind project being development by Pattern Energy Group LP would irreparably harm archeological sites in the development area.

An effort by the Quechan Tribe of the Fort Yuma Reservation in Arizona to halt construction of the "Ocotillo" wind energy project was dealt a blow May 22 when Southern District Judge William Hayes refused to issue a preliminary injunction while the case is decided.
