Attorneys say conflicts with conservationists continue to slow renewable energy development

Ongoing efforts to improve the siting of solar, wind and other energy facilities are underway but attorneys say they have yet to deliver.

As the state and federal governments seek to promote renewable energy, several ongoing efforts to improve the siting of solar, wind and other energy facilities are under way. But they have yet to deliver much in the way of improvements, and for the time being, competition between those seeking to reduce greenhouse gases and those trying to preserve undisturbed land appears likely to continue to vex the industry. ...
