SANTA ANA - After graduating from Whittier Law School, Linda Martin Gilchrist had to spend five months as a law clerk and perform a list of specific tasks before Delaware would allow her to become a lawyer there.
Gilchrist, who now is back in California as a research attorney with the San Bernardino County court, said she's glad she did.
