Judge: Disney Owns Rights to Pooh

The decision by U.S. District Judge Florence-Marie Cooper ends an 18-year battle over the rights to the Winnie the Pooh franchise.

A judge has thrown out claims accusing the Walt Disney Co. of infringing on the copyright, trademark and trade dress of Winnie the Pooh, the final claims remaining in an 18-year battle in state and federal courts over profits generated from the franchise.
