Federal Judge Steps Down, Citing Low Pay

U.S. District Judge Stephen G. Larson, who has presided over a string of high-profile, complex cases including the Bratz doll case, is stepping down from the bench Nov. 2 to join a private law firm.

RIVERSIDE - U.S. District Judge Stephen G. Larson, who has presided over a string of high-profile complex cases including the Bratz doll fight in nine years as a federal jurist based mostly in Riverside, is stepping down from the bench Nov. 2 to join a private law firm.
