Latham & Watkins: FIRST-YEAR ASSOCIATES WILL LOSE HEFTY STIPEND

Los Angeles' Latham & Watkins has eliminated the $10,000 stipends that it customarily gives to its incoming first-year attorneys. The associates will continue to receive $10,000, but as an advance on their $125,000 annual salary.
