Oakland to Settle with Rogue Cop's Detainee

SAN FRANCISCO - The city of Oakland has tentatively agreed to pay $195,000 to settle one of dozens of police malfeasance suits filed after four police officers known as the Riders were criminally charged last year with brutality and misconduct.
