Lawyers seeking to invalidate patents at the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office may want to review their documents or obtain a second opinion before submitting petitions to the government.


Statistics show the patent office is accepting patent review petitions at noticeably lower rates and experts believe one reason for the decline is filings with weak arguments or significant errors.
