GSI sues Cypress over price fixing

GSI Technology Inc. announced Monday it has sued Cypress Semiconductor Corp. in the Northern District, alleging it conspired to monopolize the market for high-performance static random access memory chips.

Sunnyvale-based GSI Technology Inc. announced Monday it has sued Cypress Semiconductor Corp. in the Northern District, alleging it conspired to monopolize the market for high-performance static random access memory (SRAM) devices used in networking and telecommunications equipment. In addition to price-fixing claims, the allegations also draw on state unfair competition laws.
