Facebook hacker nailed for identity theft

Hacking into someone's Facebook profile counts as identity theft, a state appellate court ruled late Thursday in a published opinion.

Hacking into someone's Facebook profile counts as identity theft, a state appellate court ruled late Thursday in a published opinion.

A juvenile identified only as Rolando S. obtained a girl's password and logged into her account, changing her profile and posing as her to post obscene messages on two of her friend's pages, Kings County Superior Court Judge George Orndoff found.
