Safeway's suit over tobacco ban dismissed

A federal judge in Oakland on Friday dismissed Safeway Inc.'s lawsuit challenging a San Francisco city and county ordinance that prohibits the sale of tobacco in stores with pharmacies.

A federal judge in Oakland on Friday dismissed Safeway Inc.'s lawsuit challenging a San Francisco city and county ordinance that prohibits the sale of tobacco in stores with pharmacies.
