Legal Jobs Drop in June

Legal jobs fell by the wayside in the month of June, continuing a nationwide trend of higher unemployment levels in both private and public sectors, according to date released Friday by the U.S. Labor Department.

Legal jobs fell in June, continuing a nationwide trend of higher unemployment levels in the private and public sectors.


U.S. Labor Department data released Friday showed a 2.6 percent decrease in the number of legal services jobs from 1,111,400 jobs in May to 1,108,800 jobs in June - a 2,600-job drop.
