Salaries Drop for Law School Grads

Salaries for recent law graduates have fallen sharply as positions at the largest law firms disappear, according to a study released Wednesday by the National Association for Law Placement.

Salaries for recent law graduates have fallen sharply as positions at the largest law firms disappear, according to a study released Wednesday by the National Association for Law Placement.

Members of the class of 2010 earn an average of $63,000 - 10 percent less than graduates from the year prior. The median salary dropped 13 percent to $84,111. The report notes, however, that very few people earn salaries around the mean...
