AT&T Clause Mandating Arbitration Ruled 'illegal'

SAN FRANCISCO - In the first-ever rejection of mandatory arbitration for telephone disputes, a federal magistrate has invalidated as "illegal and unconscionable" the terms of AT&T's new binding arbitration provision for disputes with consumers.
