$105 Million Verdict Against Exxon

Two California attorneys successfully argued that the oil giant was responsible for contaminating the New York City groundwater.

A New York federal jury ordered Exxon Mobil Corp. to pay $105 million for contaminating New York City groundwater on Monday in a victory for the city and for the two California attorneys who worked as outside counsel on the case.
