Office absorption is projected to easily outpace new construction in San Diego County, according to a new report by the commercial real estate firm Marcus & Millichap.
The report predicts 1.3 million square feet of space will be absorbed in the county this year, which would lead to a vacancy rate of 12.5 percent by the end of 2017. The vacancy rate at the end of 2016 was 13.5 percent.
