North Island, California credit unions complete merger

Under the accord, North Island chief executive Steve O'Connell will become CEO of the combined organization. California Credit Union CEO Ron McDaniel announced his retirement.

California Credit Union and North Island Credit Union have completed their merger, the financial institutions announced Tuesday, with system integration slated for mid-May.
