Groups push for ballot initiative to lift cap on medical malpractice lawsuit payouts

A coalition behind the as-of-yet unwritten initiative says it intends to follow through with the effort to redress the unfair medical tort law, or the Medical Injury Compensation Reform Act, through voter action.
