Appeals court reverses medical damages award

A Los Angeles appellate panel on Tuesday held that it was error for a trial judge to admit evidence of the full amounts billed for the plaintiffs' medical care.

In a personal injury case watched closely by consumer groups and the insurance industry, a Los Angeles appellate panel on Tuesday held that it was error for a trial judge to admit evidence of the full amounts billed for the plaintiffs' medical care.
