Non-union teachers sue to stop paying union dues
Twelve California public school teachers and the Ohio-based Christian Teacher's Association sued the National Education Association and the California Teachers Association Tuesday, alleging the unions' use of member dues for lobbying and other political activities violates the plaintiffs' First Amendment rights.
