Federal jury convicts former recruiter of violating anti-hacking law

A federal jury found a former recruiter guilty Wednesday on all six counts of conspiring to steal trade secrets through unauthorized access into his former employer's database, and violating a controversial anti-hacking law.

SAN FRANCISCO - A federal jury found a former recruiter at Korn/Ferry International guilty Wednesday on all six counts of conspiring to steal and possess trade secrets through unauthorized access into his ex-employer's database, and violating the Computer Fraud and Abuse Act, a controversial anti-hacking law.
