William Jaeger, 1943-2009

William Jaeger, an antitrust litigator who worked alongside future Chief Justice John G. Roberts Jr. to win a $300 million settlement for software maker Intergraph Corp. in a 1999 appellate case, has died. He was 65.

William Jaeger, an antitrust litigator who worked alongside future Chief Justice John G. Roberts Jr. to win a $300 million settlement for software maker Intergraph Corp. in a 1999 appellate case, has died. He was 65.

Jaeger died Sunday at his Berkeley home after a long battle with cancer, colleague Jim Gilliland said.
