Court: Victim Isn't 'Robbed' If Possessions Aren't Taken

SAN FRANCISCO - It's not a robbery if nothing is taken from the victim, the California Supreme Court ruled Thursday. In a unanimous decision, the high court held that a man visiting a computer assembly plant when armed robbers arrived and stole computer parts was not a robbery victim because nothing of his was taken.
