Justice System Speeds Blindly Over Cliff, Landing With Smelly Splat

LOS ANGELES - The smell wafting across Los Angeles this week is from the rotting corpse of the criminal justice system. Even if it was right, which is highly debatable, the decision by Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Jacqueline Connor last week to overturn the convictions of three Los Angeles police officers in the first Rampart police corruption trial smells funny and looks bad.
