California Bucks Death Row Trend

As the number of convicted felons sentenced to death has declined across the nation, California has sent more inmates to death row than any other state in the nation, a study found.

LOS ANGELES - Across the nation, the number of convicted felons sentenced to death has steadily declined in recent years. California, however, is bucking that trend, sending more inmates to death row than any other state in the nation, according to a study by the American Civil Liberties Union.
