Court Spending On Temp Work Soars Amid Hiring Freeze

The Administrative Office of the Courts has increased its spending on temporary employees by more than 50 percent since 2006, in part to make up for a hiring freeze.

SAN FRANCISCO - The Administrative Office of the Courts has increased spending on temporary workers more than 50 percent since 2006, in part to make up for a hiring freeze.
