West L.A. Law School Learns It Likely Will Lose Accreditation

LOS ANGELES - The University of West Los Angeles Law School learned this week it probably would lose its regional accreditation as early as December. If the Western Association of Schools and Colleges withdraws its accreditation, students will be ineligible for federal financial aid, and they will have a more difficult task when attempting to transfer schools. The move would not affect the school's separate State Bar accreditation.
