Court Knocks Down Curfew

The city of San Diego's curfew, prohibiting minors from being out and about between the hours of 10 p.m. and 6 a.m. - with a few exceptions - is unconstitutional, according to a ruling by the 4th District Court of Appeal.

SAN DIEGO - The city of San Diego's curfew, prohibiting minors from being out and about between the hours of 10 p.m. and 6 a.m. - with a few exceptions - is unconstitutional, according to a ruling by the 4th District Court of Appeal.

The opinion was prompted by the case of a minor, who had been stopped for speeding in 2008, and charged with violating the curfew.
