Focus Column - Litigation - By Michael Paul Thomas - Attorney misconduct during trial has been defined as a dishonest act, or an attempt by an attorney to persuade the court or jury by use of deceptive or reprehensible methods. People v. Chojnacky , 8 Cal.3d 759 (1973).
